Description
Revamps Data Greeting, taking the number of maps from 30 to 99, including most levels in the game, a sampling of maps from Light Versus Darkness Edition, and the Tower of Assemblage mod! Please read the Known Issues, Mod Conflicts, and Notes below!
KNOWN ISSUES:
- The System->Save and System->Load features do not work correctly for this mod unfortunately! I have tried my best to fix the issue but have been unable to do. This can softlock the game!
- Reactor issues: Do not use any reactors in Data Greeting! This can softlock the game!
- Lighting issues: Monstropolis Location 4 has a single area where lighting glitches on Sora.
- Swimming issues: Swimming in levels other than High Seas can cause issues. Be cautious in Port Royal and The Kingdom! Furthermore, you cannot dive in the High Seas! This can also softlock the game!
- Framerate: Some levels will cause framerate drops, especially the Caribbean! These levels were all basically created from scratch using Yuri's ENV template and has every map file loaded in at once. For reference, most levels only have a few maps loaded in at once, then they offload them when you move from that area. I was not able to replicate this with this mod.
- Toy Story Vents: The two Galaxy Toy vent levels have a location where you get pushed from the lower vents to the higher vents. This won't softlock you but you may get kind of trapped by the wind in the lower vents where you need to push against the wall to get freed!
- Galaxy Toys, Ice Labyrinth: The levels have many more levels assigned to them due to gameflow not being present. This causes certain areas to be closed off and therefore I had to make adjustments accordingly.
- Mount Olympus: Similar to the previous two levels, Mount Olympus ends at the Rock Titan fight area, due to certain files needing to be loaded that causes issues with the lower sections of the Mountain. This goes back to the game normally offloading and onloading certain files as you progress through the level.
- Caribbean: The Caribbean has several levels due to how expansive it is. You can fully travel across the map if you wish but I wanted to include this option for anyone who doesn't want to swim across a map for 30 minutes. Furthermore, several map files were left out to reduce how much lag the level causes. These shouldn't affect the main areas but some of the other islands may appear to be glitched.
MOD CONFLICTS:
- Data Greeting Plus: This mod modifies the same data as Data Greeting Plus, but thankfully Yuri has been kind enough to allow me to use its data in this mod so all characters can be used in all levels and maxed out at 99!
- Light Versus Darkness Edition: Currently North Mountain and Galaxy Toys have issues when used in conjunction with this mod, all other maps appear to work as intended! Some music for levels will be base game still due to adding new BGM files.
- Olympus Coliseum: To prevent softlock issues, Olympus Coliseum will not appear in either version of Realm of Gods.
NOTES:
- The list of maps I have not included in the mod from Base Game include the following: Olympus Opening Cutscene Map, Olympus Titan Fight Map, Olympus Wind Titan Fight Map, Starlight Way, Misty Stream, the Eclipse Galaxy, the Gummi Ship Interior, the Frozen Slider Map, the Endless Sands, the Caribbean Vortex, Underwater Scala ad Caelum. All of these are either not worth a slot (IMO) or have issues with Data Greeting!
- Map collision has been added to the following levels: Mysterious Tower, Yen Sid's Study, Depths of Darkness, Dark Margin, Twilight Town Computer Room, Remy's Bistro, Radiant Garden, Ansem's Lab, Disney Castle, The Keyblade Graveyard Pillars, and Destiny Islands! This is the reason the mod is 3.6gb!
- Levels taken from Light versus Darkness have been enhanced and added to! The levels included are Final World, Realm of Gods, Twilight Town, Simulation Twilight Town, 100 Acre Woods, Monstropolis Lobby and Offices, The North Mountain, San Fransokyo -Night-, the Badlands, Radiant Garden, and the Phantom Arena!
- The Tower of Assemblage maps have been added to this mod as well, including the two GoA variants as well as the three maps used for the Luxu fight! This mod was taken down for issues but I wanted to include the maps either way.
- Some levels have had the invisible walls taken down and a Kill Z added to ensure if you fall out of bounds you will respawn! These levels include: the Mysterious Tower, Thebes, Realm of Gods, Depths of Darkness, Dark Margin, all Twilight Town variants, Radiant Garden, Keyblade Graveyard Pillars, Andy's House, San Fransokyo, Destiny Islands, all Keyblade Graveyard Badlands variants, the Skein of Severance, any Scala ad Caelum maps where you start at the Top of the Tower, the Keyblade Graveyard Crossroads!
- 99 maps is the limit I'm willing to go in Data Greeting, do not ask for additional maps to be added as there is a reason I won't go into triple digits!
