DescriptionEdit

The Sentry Turret from CoD Modern Warfare. It's fully integrated, animated and working. It doesn't conflict with anything. Everything is custom (Behavior, Skeleton, animations, meshes, ...).

The turrets can rotate 90° in each direction from their placement position (so a total of 180° radius of operation). They can pitch 50° up and 50° down. They don't have 360° operation like vanilla turrets and operate more like the ones in Call of Duty.

The turret is deadly accurate and has a very high rate of fire. It will shoot enemies on sight as soon as they get into detection range.

For Players:

  • There are 3 variants for your workshop. You can find them in the same menu as the vanilla turrets. They require Gun Nut 1,2 and 3 respectively for the 3 variants. Like vanilla turrets, they can be destroyed and repaired.

For Modders:

  • There are also leveled templates in the mod meant to be placed in the game world through CK. So you can make use of them and place those turrets around. The turret has body part data, is VATS targetable and can be "crippled". The turret has a proper destroyed mesh when it gets "killed".

Variants:

  • MK1: 12dmg, 5mm, 2000RPM
  • MK2: 15dmg, 5.56mm, 4000RPM
  • MK3: 18dmg, .308, 6000RPM

Notes:

  • The turret goes frenzy (and attacks everyone and everything) when the targeting system is destroyed. That's not a bug. If you don't like it, download the "No Frenzy" variant of the mod.
  • ESL. Requires Game Version 1.10.162 or newer
  • Warning: This turret spawns a TON of shell casings (1 per round, obviously). If you use a mod that extends the lifetime of shells, it will easily cause extreme framedrops in a few seconds. For your own safetey, this mod sets the casing lifetime to 10 seconds. Feel free to ignore it and revert that setting to whatever you like. Your right to complain about performance is then voided.
