Description[edit | edit source]
What it sound like. Autosave functionality for KH2FM.
This mod adds Autosaving to KH2FM.
The autosaves are done to Slot #1 specifically, so beware whilst starting a new game as your data may be overridden.
An autosave is done every three room transitions and every world transition.
REQUIREMENTS:
- This mod is compatible with the American and European version of Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix.
- This mod requires either the external or the internal version of LuaBackend v0.75 or above.
Please see this page for it's installation.
IMPORTANT:
Before putting this script into the folders necessary, open up the script and do the following depending on your LuaBackend version:
- INTERNAL:
- Find the variable called 'EPIC_ID', set it's value to your Epic Games ID (found on 'Documents\KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX\Epic Games Store' as the name of the only folder in that location) and save.
- EXTERNAL:
- Find the variable called 'RootPath', delete the line right below it, and set it's value to 'C:/Users/<YOUR_NAME>/Documents/KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX/Epic Games Store/<YOUR_ID>/KHIIFM.png' and save.
KNOWN ISSUES:
- Saves do not appear to be made in game. This is a limitation of the game itself, restarting the game completely will make the saves appear as they are, indeed, saved.
- Icons and worlds may or may not match. This is a cosmetic issue, has no correlation to the save itself.
- I did everything possible to prevent this, but there is a very, extremely tiny chance for the autosave to be corrupted. Relying solely on autosaves is a stupid idea and should not be done.
IMPORTANT
In case I did not make this clear enough, the chance for save corruption is low but never zero. Make a backup of your save and use this mod at your own risk. I do not accept any responsibility for corrupted and lost saves.
